Paper Examination of Corporate Social-Environmental Disclosure
The paper has three main purposes in exploring the practices of corporate social and environmental responsibility in Islamic banks, in 3 different countries; Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia.
The practice is evaluated by investigating corporate social and environmental disclosures (CSED) in the annual reports through content analysis method. Firstly, it discusses the CSED level in the annual reports. Secondly, it describes the information contain in disclosure sections. Thirdly, to provide insight into CSED practice, this study calculates how much information they disclose in the annual reports.

They only relied on the natural source of energy to ventilate and cooling houses. System and equipment by which wind is used for ventilation were, therefore, considered as ways and means of providing comfort and easy life in buildings.

Compulsory Education Policy
Compulsory Education (CE) introduced in July 2000 by Singapore Minister of State for Education, Dr Aline Wong, has sparked heated debate between the Muslim community and Singapore government. This policy applys to all Singaporeans between 7 to 12 years old and is defined as education in national schools for Singapore citizens residing in Singapore (2006, www.moe.edu.sg).
The government, however, has refused to acknowledge Madrasah as national school. In the many negotiations preceding the CE implementation, it was mutually agreed that Madrasah will only be closed if they underperformed more than twice in a period of 3 years. The Highest Religious Councils of Singapore MUIS introduced the Joint Madrasah System (JMS) in October 2007 as a response to enhance Madrasah’s standard.

Paper Characters Usage of Brand Advertisement
In today’s competitive atmosphere, it is highly important for the brands being ahead of its competitors by being distinguished from the others. One of the most important answers which will be given to the question “how can a fruitful brand become?” will be, undoubtedly, “it should associate with fine experiences.”
In this study, the influence of real and fictional characters used in brand advertisements in Turkish TV advertisements to the brand association and results will be analyzed. The data collection method used for this study is questionnaire. In order to analyze the associations created on the consumers by the characters and their effects on purchase decision 25 characters which come up in Turkish TV advertisements in these days are handled. Out of 25 characters, 15 of them are fictional and 10 of them are real characters. Out of 10 real characters, 7 of them are famous and 3 of them are not well-known people.
