Fashion can be equated to goodness and beauty. What is not beautiful and likely good, is considered unfashionable. In Australian and in other countries, the term “fashion” is usually associated with a positive meaning and is usually associated with glamour and style. However, if you see a person as trendy and materialistic, then the term fashion now has a negative meaning.

Australian fashion is influenced by a lot of factors, and among them are society dictates and time. There are various perceptions of what is fashionable within a community depending on one’s generation, social class, occupation, and age.

Because fashion is constantly changing some people think this is a bad thing because they are forced to buy unnecessary things which they have to replace quickly just so they can say that they are in style. So what is fashionable? Is it what the fashion magazines tell us or what looks good on us?

Jeans is a very popular choice for most people because they are practical, comfortable and easy to wear. It also comes in different fabrics. The jeans were originally used as work clothes but by the middle of the 20th century, became a huge fashion statement. Jeans usually call for a casual way of dressing up. Jeans vary in color, and from straight or loose, baggy, skinny or slim, super low waisted or high waisted.
